Cameron is a PRINCE2 certified Project Manager (Practitioner level) and restructuring specialist with over 15 years of experience in practice and industry.

As a founder of JC Consulting, Cameron leads all business development and market engagement efforts.

As JC’s leading face to market, Cameron is able to draw on his background as a technical delivery lead when discussing restructuring initiatives with prospective clients to give a truly expert view on project potential.

Prior to forming JC Consulting, Cameron spent six years at EY, where he worked on restructuring programs across various sectors and went on to lead restructuring projects as a consultant.

Cameron retains responsibility as Client Service Partner to some of JC’s key clients.

Ruth is a Chartered Accountant (FCA), former Financial Controller and legal entity specialist with over 30 years of experience in practice and industry.

Having trained at PwC in the UK, Ruth went on to work in operational and Group finance roles across Europe including positions in International Reporting and Controllership.

Against the backdrop of complex restructuring, Ruth has the ability to bring things back to basics and solve problems methodically and pragmatically.

Ruth has led several of JC’s complex UK and global legal entity rationalisation programmes for clients in the Facilities Management, Construction and Technology sectors.

Simon is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) and corporate restructuring specialist with over 15 years of experience in practice and industry.

Based in Perth, Western Australia, Simon is JC’s Asia-Pacific Lead, delivering restructuring in-region for JC’s global clients as well as being the principal face to market across Asia.

Simon trained at KPMG in Australia, where he managed operational and financial restructuring projects as well as formal insolvency appointments, before moving into Banking.

Simon is a strong technical accountant with real commercial acumen and has brought those skills together to be JC’s lead for carve out and entity separation work globally. He has an excellent ability to drive separation activities whilst maintaining client relationships on both sides of a deal, managing changing and often conflicting requirements.

Dom is an experienced Commercial Director with an MBA.​

Having spent the early years of his professional career in consulting, most notably with Grant Thornton, Dom took a career break to study for his Masters of Business Administration in Barcelona.

With his deep understanding of business methodology, Dom is an expert at delivering businesses growth through sales strategy. With a focus on sustainable growth, Dom has implemented the foundations for targeted expansion in several businesses. ​

Dom joined JC Consulting in 2023 as Commercial Director and is leading the company’s growth strategy.

Ed is a PRINCE2 certified Project Manager (Practitioner level) with over 25 years of experience across the finance, pharmaceutical, and IT industries.

Ed has a deep understanding of legal entity management principles and processes and specialised in managing corporate governance technology and operations in his former employment.

Ed’s knowledge of legal entity governance dovetails perfectly with JC’s foundations in corporate restructuring. His experience is often leveraged for ‘end state’ legal entity planning.

Since joining JC, Ed has developed his and JC’s project management capabilities and is now a leader in that space, having delivered core project management services on several large LER and pre-sale separation projects.

Sergei is a Chartered Accountant (FCCA) with over 20 years of experience in practice and industry. He trained at KPMG in Moscow and before moving with his job to London. Following his tenure at KPMG, Sergei moved into roles across audit and operational finance for several global companies.

Sergei’s technical accounting skills are fundamental to many of JC’s assignments. As well as leading on balance sheet restructuring, Sergei also advises JC’s clients on specific and technical accounting matters.

Drawing on his passion for career development and coaching, Sergei forges strong relationships with clients at all levels and looks out for the wellbeing of those that he meets.

Andrew is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) with over 10 years of experience in restructuring and insolvency.

Andrew trained with RSM before moving to Duff & Phelps and then Alvarez & Marsal. His broad experience in restructuring ranges from legal entity rationalisation to M&A advisory to formal insolvency assignments. Andrew’s focus, though, is on complex, cross-border engagements, often involving intricate stakeholder groups and navigating several jurisdictions.

Andrew’s deep technical restructuring knowledge is utilised on JC’s most challenging restructuring projects. His ability to understand complex transactions and drive them forwards is a significant asset to JC and our clients.

Jan is a Tax Lawyer (LLM, LLB) by training, a former Head of Tax and legal entity specialist with over 40 years of experience in practice and industry.

Having graduated from university in the Netherlands, Jan went on to work in tax management, M&A, and restructuring roles worldwide, including positions in Europe, South America, and the United States.

Throughout his diverse career, Jan has held senior positions at prestigious companies including Diageo, General Electric and PwC.

As a seasoned tax professional, Jan brings C-Suite level experience to the team, combined with up-to-date and relevant tax knowledge, allowing Jan to understand and navigate complex tax matters for our clients. A highly personable individual, Jan has an excellent ability to drive simplification, whilst managing changing and often conflicting requirements of stakeholders.

Jan’s vast experience has seen him manage and deliver several UK and global restructuring initiatives in the Pharmaceutical, FMCC and Healthcare Equipment sectors.

Velyana is a licensed lawyer qualified under Bulgarian law and a member of the Sofia Bar Association since 2010. She has practiced law for over 15 years, bringing extensive expertise in corporate legal restructuring and rationalisation, mergers and acquisitions and legal writing.

Velyana began her career at one of Bulgaria’s leading law firms, where she spent 11 years advising domestic and multinational clients. With broad professional experience, she specialises in corporate law and transaction structuring—particularly in cross-border matters.

Velyana brings the legal dimension to JC’s team, applying her vast legal skillset to problems that require creative and considered solutions. She provides legal support to JC’s clients in undertaking contract reviews, transitioning business and assets between entities both domestically and cross-border and coordinating the execution of legal steps to elimination.

Velyana also leads JC Consulting’s global legal network, spanning more than 80 countries.

Josh is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and PRINCE2 certified Project Manager (Practitioner level) with a background in accounting and tax compliance. Having graduated with first-class honours from the University of Portsmouth, he began his professional career at a local accountancy firm where he put into practice the skills developed throughout his ACCA qualification.

Since joining JC, Josh has become a highly valued member of the team, with an eagerness to learn and proactive approach to his duties.

Josh was already a strong accountant but has added stakeholder and project management to his repertoire and is now an extremely able workstream lead.
